Deepak runs a small physiotherapy rehabilitation centre in Kerala, helping patients slowly rebuild their lives after illness and injury. Among the patients and therapists moves his five-year-old daughter Krishna, who spends her days wandering through the clinic offering comfort to people in pain.
Krishna’s mother, a scientist working abroad, communicates with her daughter through recorded video messages, often telling stories about the Himalayan mountains and ancient gods.
But when Krishna suddenly begins showing signs of illness, Deepak’s world begins to collapse.
Unable to bear the fear alone, he decides to fulfil a long-promised wish - a journey to the Himalayas.
From Kerala’s backwaters to the mountain landscapes of Uttarakhand, their journey becomes a quiet exploration of love, loss, and the fragile beauty of life.

Na 10 jaar Adviseurschap aan Samira Elagoz werk Cock Cock Who is There and Seeking Bromance
werd Jeanette Groenendaal voor een volle zaal gehugd

SEEK BROMANCE
With Samira Elagoz, Cade Moga
Filmed during the Covid-19 pandemic, Seek Bromance tells the story of Samira Elagoz and Cade Moga, and their joint attempt to defy gender norms. It all begins when the two artists meet to collaborate and share their common desire to transition. Then the pandemic hits. With the world at a standstill, Sam and Cade are swept away by a passionate impulse and give in to their desire for each other. They decide to hit the road. Against the backdrop of the pandemic and as a witness to this budding romance, Elagoz's camera follows the impromptu road trip, capturing this dazzling love story between two bodies discovering and transforming themselves under the influence of hormones.

COCK, COCK WHO’S THERE
With Samira Elagoz, Ayumi Matsuda, Tashi Iwaoka
‘READ ME! I'm a 24-year-old girl making a short documentary film. [...] The idea is that I come to your home and film us getting to know each other.’ In an attempt to regain control of her sexuality after being raped, Samira Elagoz reaches out to strangers. Using her own body, the artist rejects a series of profiles: men she meets online, on various dating sites and apps (Tinder, Craigslist, Chatroulette). Each time, Samira Elagoz uses the same classified ad and the same protocol to collect the fantasies of her partners. Like taking a sudden step back, Cock, Cock.. Who’s There? comes following lengthy research: faced with images, Elagoz examines, along with us, the mechanisms that govern heterosexual desire.

The Gift that keeps on Giving
A platform for collective dreaming and psychic archaeology.
In the Shelter of Shared Imagination.

There are transmissions that exceed intention. Long after the event has passed, their presence remains. Some gifts do not come wrapped in meaning. They pass silently through proximity, through repetition, through the atmospheric residue of the unsaid. They do not require consent. They embed. They linger. They return. Not because they were invited, but because they cannot be dismissed.

This exhibition takes that condition, not as metaphor, but as architecture. It explores the radical potential of dreaming together not merely as an escape, but as a generative and political act. Across cultures and histories, dreams have served as maps, messages, and mirrors offering insight, healing, and sometimes prophecy. When these dreams are shared, whether in conversation, ritual, or image, they begin to shape a language beyond logic, one that resists the rational enclosures of the waking world. The commons of sleep expands, encompassing all who dare to close their eyes not to escape, but to imagine otherwise. The gift persists. It moves through us. It dreams us forward.

This platform is made possible by multiple partnerships like Национален фонд „Култура“/ National Culture Fund, Bulgaria The Singer-Zahariev Foundation Doza Gallery Ifa - Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen Bundesministerium für Wohnen, Kunst, Kultur, Medien und Sport @goetheinstitut_bangalore @savvycontemporary @mondriaanfonds @prohelvetia and many more.

Tentoonstelling Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam
11 oktober 2025 t/m 6 april 2026
